Position Objective
The Senior HR Executive, overseeing 1-2 executives, will be responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of human resource functions. This includes but is not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, payroll management and policy implementation. The objective is to drive organisational success by fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and perform a full spectrum of HR functions, including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, onboarding, off-boarding, leave administration, compensation and benefits, training and development.
- Provide leadership on matters of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures, and best practices.
- Responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of work for the HR department.
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures remain current and in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Impart organisational policies and key information to employees.
- Lead the salary benchmarking process, including market research findings to ensure market competitiveness and employee value.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and manage employee relations matters.
- Build a company culture that is in line with the management’s values and objectives.
- Oversee staff, provide guidance, allocate work and ensure their professional wellbeing and growth.
- Understand the job functions and roles of the different departments to devise a career development programmes aligned to the organisation’s business plans.
- Liaise and work with government bodies and other external service providers such as insurance insurers, training insituitations, MOM, MOH and Singapore Nursing Board.
- Manage employee progress, performance and development by implementing the annual performance management system and working with line management to support the appraisal process
- Administer employee benefits and welfare programs.
- Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety standards.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support overall business success.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
Job Requirements
- Recognised Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experiences in HR field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and regulations.
- Experience with QuickHR system will be an added advantage.
