Main Requirements
- Create seasoning samples according to the customer briefs, applications need, technology performance assessment, Givaudan Creation guidelines, QC standards, physical testing
- Participate in the evaluation and screening of seasoning materials developed internally or from external sources to assess their potential for seasoning design
- Manage the commercial project pipeline by designing seasonings that meets all the defined customer needs which also meets good manufacturing practices, with industrialization/scale-up mindset, production requirements, regulatory compliances Ensure on time completion of projects with high quality submissions within pricing guidelines.
- Participate in presentations and involved in co-creation/collaboration with customers
- Be on the bench to compound and able to run pilot scale lab equipments
- Monitor flavour and seasoning performance and stability in food products
- Participate in running flavour application/seasoning creation training courses
- Provide support, active in exchange of information/ creation tips seasoning creators community in Asia Pacific
- Document and report results of all tasks, generate technical presentations.
- Be a technical expert and advisor to sales & marketing team and customers on ingredients and flavour performance for multiple seasoning types
- Participate and learn about all departments directly related to implementing customer briefs (analytical chemistry, sensory, consumer understanding, regulatory, flavour delivery, manufacturing)
- Provide technical support to resolve seasoning production issues and handle customer complaints with complete ownership
- Coach, mentor and motivate seasoning creators observing need
- Work with multiple teams in the Regional Innovation Centre on innovative projects and capability presentations to the customers including technical training to customers
- Understand customer’s brand and create seasoning solutions with proper value propositions including contributing to the application development plans
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised lab environment observing EH&S policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry & Biology. A Diploma in Food Science and Technology
- Completion of Givaudan or any industry equivalent Seasoning Training programme will be an added advantage
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience especially in snacks and seasoning applications
- Knowledge of seasoning manufacturing equipment and processes involved commercially
- Knowledge of local and regional regulatory requirements for seasonings
- Expert knowledge on commodities and other ingredients portfolio
- Knowledge of different base matrix and their formulation
- Competent written and verbal command of English
- Expert tasting and aroma sensory ability
- Experience working with customers
