What you’ll do:
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide visionary leadership for our company’s overall technology strategy. The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Drive innovation by staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and lead research and development efforts to enhance our product and service offerings.
- Collaborate with other C-level executives, including the CEO, to ensure seamless integration of technology and business strategies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to ensure the company's technology capabilities align with its growth trajectory.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced, tech-driven startup.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or Rust, with experience in developing scalable systems.
- Expertise in distributed systems, database optimization, and performance tuning.
- Skilled in both high-level architectural design and hands-on code development.
- Ability to shift between tasks and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced agile team.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new and emerging blockchain technologies.
- Experience working in startup companies
- Experience managing large teams
- Deep technical understanding of blockchain technologies is required, including Bitcoin and Ethereum
