Responsibilities:
- Under broad direction, this role is responsible for delivering highly technical and/or specialized training and educational programs to internal and external customers
- Provides subject matter expertise for highly technical training and/or professional development curriculum
- The Senior Technical Instructor is responsible for partnering with Instructional Design in the curriculum development process to include design/redesign, execution, and success metrics
- In addition, he/she is expected to develop skill demonstration exercises applying knowledge gained from field operations experience
- Conducts assessment of course objectives vs. student performance, diagnosis of performance gaps such as CPI/EJCS data as well as incorporating PSL established competencies
- Assesses employee needs and assists in the as-needed adaptation of training program materials, ensuring training content aligns appropriately to the learning style of the audience and addresses performance gaps for the Product Service Lines and Support Organizations
- Supports the development of less experienced technical instructors through coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
Completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering, science, education, or similar disciplines in addition to 8+ years of experience relating to product service line operations, including curriculum development or training. Traveling is a requirement.
