Job Description
Identify Innovative and Emerging Technology Trends for Strategic Partnerships with Industries
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Reporting to the Head of Public Safety and Security (PSS) Business, develop mid- and long-term business plans forPSS business in collaboration with the PSS leadership team, Business Areas (BA), and Lines of Business (LOB).
- Market and Technology Research: Research market and technology trends to identify new growth areas within the PSS Business.
- Strategic Analysis: As a member of the PSS team, conduct strategic analysis of existing business operations to identify and recommend new business areas for growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strategic relationships with key customers, identifying and initiating new programs to better support them and grow the business.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate new partnerships to enhance capabilities and generate new business opportunities.
- Project Management: Organize PSS workplans and conduct monthly meetings to track business progress and develop new key initiatives.
- Solution Proposal: Evaluate customers' needs and processes to propose relevant solutions aimed at digitalizing processes, maximizing technology adoption, and implementing digital transformation solutions.
- Product and Architecture Understanding: Collaborate closely with BA & LOB to understand product offerings and architectures, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Horizon Scanning: Maintain a deep understanding of technology trends and business processes to enable clients in their digital roadmaps.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in public safety and technology domains.
- Highly driven person with ability to strategize, build trust and collaboration across PSS business functions
- Strong interest to excel and grow career in running business unit
- Strong strategic thinking, market research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of strategic planning, business development and finance will have an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Technical aptitude with computing foundations and user experience
