Scope of Services
The responsibilities of the PeopleSoft System Administrator include, but are not limited to:
· Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft components such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and middleware on Windows infrastructure.
· System Upgrades: Perform PeopleSoft bundle patch and PeopleTools upgrades.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor the PeopleSoft system for performance issues, resource utilization, and system health.
· Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support, bug fixes, and address vulnerability issues/fixes of existing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PeopleSoft environment, including networks, software, hardware, and operating systems.
· Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for PeopleSoft databases and applications.
· Documentation: Maintain and update documentation related to the PeopleSoft environment, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
· Collaboration: Work closely with application developers to understand and address their requirements.
· Scripting: Implement scripting for routine maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.
· Reporting: Provide monthly work progress reports.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
· Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or relevant certification courses.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft Administration.
· Experience in Microsoft SQL database and Azure Cloud is advantageous.
· Good knowledge and experience in managing Windows operating systems.
· Good knowledge in PowerShell scripting.
