Housekeeping Attendant

Job Purpose

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness are maintained within the facility and keeping areas tidy and safe to create a pleasant environment for members and visitors.


Principal Accountabilities

  1. Maintains the cleanliness of the lounge, restaurant and common areas.
  2. Sweep, dust vacuums, and mops all areas of Sushisamba.
  3. Clean all toilets and tissue, hand towels and soap.
  4. Weekly to descale sink taps/plugs, clean tiling as required
  5. Operate mechanized cleaning equipment
  6. Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms and areas of the workout floor.
  7. Empties trash and garbage containers. Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
  8. Monitor and report necessary repairs, replacements, maintenance issues, and safety hazards
  9. Work with minimum disturbance to building users, placing safety notices or informing people if likely to be any danger (wet floors, trailing cables, hazardous cleaning materials, etc.).
  10. Work as a member of the team and provide support as required to colleagues; participate in team meetings and training provided; wear uniform/protective clothing and staff badge as supplied.
  11. Be aware of confidentiality issues and not get into situations where you may receive information which cannot be passed on.
  12. Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

  1. Connects and build relationships with customers and anticipate their needs
  2. Works closely with colleagues to guarantee effective communication of customer flow and bookings
  3. Coordinates with different departments to guarantee effective communication and to ensure information transmission at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  1. At least high school diploma
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar position in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
  3. Must speak English
  4. Excellent communications skills
  5. Outstanding customer service skills
  6. Positive and high energy level
  7. Highly cooperative team spirit
  8. Ability to work in a high stress, faced-paced environment

Physical Requirements of the job


The job of Housekeeping Attendant may require

  1. Long working hours and sometimes work during holidays.
  2. Walk and stand for entire shift
