Responsibilities:
- Apply Agile methodology principles to development processes, facilitating iterative development, continuous improvement, and adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Deliver high-quality code within stringent delivery timelines, ensuring adherence to project schedules and meeting client expectations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Data Windows, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts such as Inheritance and Polymorphism, and utilization of PowerBuilder Foundation Classes (PFC) for efficient application development.
- Develops, designs, programs, analyzes, debugs, and modifies Software programs using PowerBuilder.
- Establish Development and Test Environment setups, ensuring optimal configuration for smooth application development and testing processes.
- Lead development and enhancement efforts, as well as thorough testing of PowerBuilder applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Utilize experience with Oracle DB and strong understanding of SQL queries to interact effectively with databases, ensuring seamless data integration and manipulation within PowerBuilder applications.
- Utilize extensive experience in programming with PowerBuilder versions 12.1, 11.5, 10.5, 10, 9, 8, 7, leveraging PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library (PFC) and Visual NonVisual User Objects to develop and enhance robust applications.
- Work proficiently with PowerBuilder IDE, SVN/Git repositories, and JIRA-based bug tracking systems to manage source code versioning and track issues efficiently.
