Job Overview:
We are seeking qualified and experienced Educational Psychologists to join our team on a contract (consultant) basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide online and in-person consultations and interventions to students, parents, and educators seeking support for learning and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing educational outcomes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide evidence-based psychological services in a remote setting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of psychologists, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans for students.
- Conduct online (and if required in-person) consultations with students, parents, and educators using secure video conferencing platforms.
- Conduct initial evaluations to understand students' learning and developmental needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including cognitive assessments, psycho-educational evaluations, and behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
- Offer guidance and support to parents and educators on strategies to support students' learning and development.
- Stay abreast of current research and developments in the field of educational psychology.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions and professional development activities as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing educational psychology services.
- Registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SRP).
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 consultation sessions per week.
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessments and interventions for learning and developmental issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients in an online setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online consultation platforms and other digital tools for remote work.
- Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards of conduct.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to accommodate client schedules.
- Possession of valid working permits that allow employment in Singapore.
