Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct metallurgical preparation and evaluation of specimens (including brazing, weld, coating) and generate reports for customers within specific lead times.
- Ensure tests adhere to international standard specifications, customer requirements, technical, quality, and safety procedures.
- Communicate with customers to clarify testing requirements, incoming specimens, expected completion dates, and test results to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments on multi-department jobs.
- Work with Quality Manager on internal & external quality-related activities, including certification body & customer audits, proficiency testing, identify root causes for non-conformances, and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Provide technical support to the Sales division on customer inquiries.
- Conduct feasibility studies on new standards/specifications, draft working procedures, and plans for implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in the Materials Testing field.
- Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector will be an advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
- Well organized, flexible, and able to multitask.
