- Identify business development opportunities
- Build and manage relationship with existing and potential clients to advance organisation’s business interests.
- Manage relationship with existing and potential clients to develop new opportunities and advance organisation’s business interests
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the General Manager to strategise forays to evaluate new markets for existing products and services to achieve market expansion and business development goals.
- Define, identify and implementation of market entry strategies locally and globally via primary and secondary research, industry, market and competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
- To identify, build, and manage long-term business relationships with clients and strategic partners.
- Provide full support to General Manager to drive strategic initiatives related to business development opportunities and strategic alliances, JV’s, distribution agreement, mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, IP rights licensing etc.
- Ensure customer retention and satisfaction for repeat jobs.
- Monitor sales pipeline and follow up to maximise chance of success on targeted jobs
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- At least 5 years of business development experience within the engineering, Oil & Gas, energy, renewables or consultancy industry.
- Willing to be based and travel within the west region (including Tuas and Jurong Island)
