A. Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSEQ management, preferably in the Marine industry
- Knowledge of local and international HSEQ regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
B. Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular audits and inspections onboard vessels to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and crew
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSEQ programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
