Looking for a socials-savvy graphic designer. Conversely, this position is open to a social marketing executive well-versed in graphic design, supported by a strong portfolio.
Job description:
Working alongside a creative director in charge of branding & concept, our Socials Specialist is responsible for the creation, delivery and engagement of our socials and e-commerce content. Intermittently, he/she/they will fulfil a secondary role of contributing graphics; working with our fashion designer on the next seasonal collection/drops. We run a flat hierarchy made up of a team of collaborative individuals. Therefore, we need an active self-starter with truckloads of initiative. "Hey, I have a sick idea for this concept" beats "your instructions are unclear, please spoonfeed me." You are part of our culture of creative collective.
Baseline (Qualification):
+ Background in graphic design or visualcomm preferred (Degree/Diploma).
+ Minimum 2 years industry experience, with a compelling portfolio.
Essentials (Requirements)
+ Invested in creativity, you take an active interest in street culture, fashion and social trends.
+ Appreciates avant-garde but understands commercialism. You are a creative but you are in a business.
+ Discerning and driven by aesthetics, mood, direction and the art of cool.
+ Strong work ethic. Independent, self-motivated, autonomous, you require little supervision to get things done.
Scope (Responsibilities):
+ Mastery of that one social tool: the iPhone.
+ Reels, Stories, TikTok - you slay those shorts (content!).
+ Create and execute posts for IG, FB, Twitter/X, Threads, etc.
+ Working in an Adobe CC environment, you are well-versed in Illustrator & Photoshop.
+ Canva, Affinity or Figma may be used as your own personal design tools.
+ Ability to layout designs from a Wix, Squarespace or Shopify template.
+ Manage visual assets for socials and e-commerce.
+ Produce project graphics and brand assets on seasonal/drops basis.
Language:
+ English-speaking, multi-national environment.
+ Korean (written/verbal) would give you an edge, but is not a requirement.
