Scope of Services:
- To conduct WSH incident/accident investigations in NCCS building and its off-site offices and submit reports with root cause analysis, preventive and corrective measures
- To review WSH document submissions (such as risk assessments, ROFs, Method Statements) within 2 working days upon receiving from NCCS staff/vendors/contractors/service partners
- To carry out regular WSH compliance inspections on NCCS projects, workplaces and to audit on its WSH-related policies, procedures, practices and processes, with recommended measures to close any WSH gaps and findings
- To notify and advice NCCS on any changes/amendments of WSH Act and Regulations that is applicable/may impact its business and operations
- To review and update NCCS’s WSH-related policies and procedures
- To provide WSH-related advices and briefings to NCCS staff when required
- To attend monthly WSH Committee or any project meetings concerning WSH-related matters when required
- To liaise with Government Authorities on WSH-related matters and submissions where possible
- To provide attendance/support NCCS work activities during office hours or after office hours where required e.g. hoisting works, hot works, etc.
- Monthly submission of safety report to NCCS management
Requirements
- Must be register Workplace Safety Health Officers (WSHOs)
- The WSHOs shall discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act.
