Responsibilities:
a) To head and chair the technical department consisting of architectural coordinators, structural engineers and M&E coordinators.
b) To provide technical support and knowhow to every worksite by allocating the required personnel and time at various construction phases of each project.
c) Advising on and co-ordinating each trade technical activities.
d) Identifying and owning all technically based risk, escalating to the Project Manager as appropriate.
e) Ensuring the non-functional requirements are achievable and subsequently met.
f) Ensuring adherence to appropriate standards of technical best practice.
g) Managing technical aspects of the construction and putting all interpretation of construction drawings, preparation of shop drawings and other approved technical proposal or counter-proposal into correct execution of actual construction.
h) Resolving technical differences between technical team members.
i) Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
j) Creates and executes technical support plans based on the construction phases and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
k) Keeps project manager well informed of status of technical support efforts and serves as liaison between technical staff and project manager.
l) Ensures technical teams are contributing to our library.
m) Performs department and works reviews and mentors junior members of the team.
n) Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.
o) Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

Requirements:
1) Degree/Diploma in Civil/Building or equivalent.
2) At least 3 years of working experience.
