DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning:
- Responsible for preparing picking slips for production (Allocating materials & machines, printing & passing of picking slips to production
- Responsible for manpower arrangement and efficiency of warehouse operations to meet work order deadline
Inventory:
- Liaise with Export team to ensure smooth delivery/collection of export orders
- Liaise with Import team to ensure smooth stock in of import orders
- Ensure the materials in the warehouse are well maintained and properly stocked.
- Responsible for mid-year & year end stock take and occasional random inventory checks
- Preparing of transfer form for material movement between warehouses
Others:
- Assist in QA/QC activities
- Any ad-hoc tasks, duties or projects as required by HOD or management
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and experience:
- ITE / Diploma / Degree Holder in Engineering
- At least 2 years of related experience of relevant production planning and control experience in fast paced environments.
- Good command of English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese Counterpart (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
- ISO related knowledge will be advantageous
Key skills:
- Experience with ERP system
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel for reporting, Word & PowerPoint
- Strong organisation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
