We are looking for a Hub Agent to join our company.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
The Hub Agent will report to Hub Manager Asia.
Required experience and skills :
- Diploma in Maritime Business or similar discipline.
- Preferably experience from marine industry and ships agency operations.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Able to work independently and systematically.
- Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
- Computer literate.
What you will be doing :
- Coordinate all Hub Agreement related jobs.
- Ensure all appointments are handled without delay and assigned to Operations.
- Monitor the execution of the port call and work closely with Operations to ensure that we meet the customers’ expectations.
- For Hub Agreements, actively follow up the relevant agents for operational and DA requirements.
- Provide ships agency support and advice to customers, Hub team and Sales.
- Assist and support the Ships Agency group on administrative, technical and commercial issues.
- Use customer specific information related to Ships Agency in order to pro-actively promote our products and services to customers and engage actively in finding solutions to customer’s challenges.
- Assist with conceptualising and pricing of Hub Agreements together with Sales.
- Register and maintain agency agreement information into the IT systems available.
- Report and take corrective action together with Key Account Manager or Sales Executive to ensure sales budgets are achieved and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Ensure adherence related to regulatory issues pertaining to Ships Agency.
- Provide regular feedback on technical, service quality and commercial issues raised by customers to the Ships Agency Manager, Global Sales Operation Director and Sales.
- Gather information required to help investigation and resolution in Final DA Settlement disputes.
- Follow up complaints/non-compliancesthrough improvement/complaint system in place.
