Job Description:
- Perform consolidation, intercompany eliminations and intercompany transactions for subsidiaries and Group
- Day-to-day accounting such as journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and maintaining theGeneral Ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
- Ensure that all necessary activities are completed to accurately close the books for a given accountingperiod
- Preparing the financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow statement,and any reporting packs needed
- Aggregate different processes in the business (eliminate discontinued processes, accounting for changes due to policy changes, and record adjustments made by management in the accounts)
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, perform control testing, and contribute to the identificationand mitigation of financial risks
- Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Respond to auditinquiries and provide information as needed to support audit procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the R2R processes. Propose enhancements to increaseefficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance R2R processes, reduce cycle times, eliminate redundancies, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, dashboard creation, and data analysis using Tableau or similar tools
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 5 years working experience
- Prior experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Communicates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Works well in a team environment, contributes positively to group dynamics
- Capable of analyzing problems and developing effective solutions
