The Role
This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, Corporate tax and GST reporting , audit schedules intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records
- Manage operational activities of the finance team, including streamlining processes and procedures to promote efficiency and accuracy
- Review property level variance analysis, AR/GL posting, and perform month end closing processes
- Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects, driving process improvements such as SAP implementation, system design and implementation etc
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ relevant hands-on experience and / or audit experiences
- Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, curious and eager to learn
- A team player who is meticulous, analytical, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills as the role involves frequent liaising with various parties such as inter-department, property managers/agents and auditors
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience with SAP system, real estate or financial services industry would be advantageous.
