The Role:

The primary role of the Real Estate Manager is to deploy and effectively manage the asset strategy for the group and to effectively deliver its stated growth and geographical expansion of its business in the initial geography of Singapore; successfully execution of which could mean role further future enlargement to cover other SEA territories.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proactive targeting with detailed and due diligence analysis of asset types in viable and buoyant trade zones with strong commercial lens – establishment of a strong Development Growth Pipeline
- Strong leasing negotiations and partnerships with landlords, Realtors and Brokers, with careful consideration and mapping for eventual outlet P&L and paybacks
- Proactive engagement and ownership of project management of site developments (new, remodels and upgrades)
- Analyse and manage impact of renovation cycles, store expansions, closures and relocations effectively to ensure business growth continuity
- Responsible for project management, regulatory compliance, and timely completion.
- Negotiate for new and renewal leases with clear commercial recommendations to Leadership Team
- Timely application for all business-related licenses and compliance requirement.
- Lease administration and documentation
- Any other task as assigned
Experience and Skillsets Required:
- More than 5 years in Development, Planning, Design & Construction, Real Estate type roles preferably in F&B and Retail businesses
- Graduate from a recognised University in Business, Economics, Finance preferably.
- Regional exposure would be added advantage.
- Excellent Planning and Communications skills
- Strong Commercial mindset with well-developed analytical skills to arrive at strong recommendations that underpin growth for the business.
- Collaborative team-player able to work independently, cross functionally and at times, in ambiguous matrix corporate structure. Able to ‘gel’ teams together through good Project Management leadership.
