Job Summary: The Managing Director is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and operational management of Tiger Brokers. Working closely with the Board of Directors and senior management team, the Managing Director sets and implements the company's strategic direction, oversees day-to-day operations, and ensures financial sustainability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company's strategic plans in collaboration with the Board and senior management team.
- Provide visionary leadership to all departments and ensure alignment with the company's mission and objectives.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency and performance, implementing improvements as needed.
Financial Management:
- Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure financial stability, profitability, and growth through effective resource allocation and cost management.
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint and revenue streams.
- Lead negotiations with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Organizational Culture and Talent Management:
- Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that promotes teamwork, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing senior management team, providing mentorship and guidance to drive professional growth and succession planning.
Corporate Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Uphold high standards of ethics and integrity throughout the organization's operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), or in a similar executive leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision making capabilities.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese as this role requires you to manage stakeholders in our China Office.
