Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our client's operations in Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technology and promotional products, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability in the e-commerce sector. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business in the region, including sales, marketing, operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in Asia.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, including sales representatives, marketing specialists, and customer service agents.
- Implement best practices for e-commerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Manage a China-based printing facility to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of orders—from artwork to sample to final delivery of the decorated products across key markets in Asia.
- Drive product innovation and development to meet the evolving needs of our customers and stay ahead of competitors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other partners to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies across all aspects of the business.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on sales and/or operations management.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of technology platforms and digital marketing strategies, with experience in SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
- Knowledge of the promotional products industry and familiarity with sourcing, manufacturing, and customization processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams across multiple functions and locations.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
