The Role:
- Design and perform gene modification of primary human immune cells with novel chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) strategies.
- Capable of optimizing molecular and cellular assays for characterization of genetically modified immune cells. These assays may include RNA extraction, real-time PCR, ELISA, western blotting, cytotoxicity assay, cell proliferation assays and cytokine measurement etc.,
- Multi-parametric immunophenotyping by flow cytometry techniques
- Good hands-on experience with PBMCs and cellular therapy products either through established protocols, or to optimize new protocols as seen necessary.
- Maintains accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory procedures and experiments.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and present data to internal and external stake holders.
- Oversee maintenance and operation of laboratory such as replenishing & triggering order of consumables, collection of waste materials, maintenance of laboratory equipment, etc.
