Job Reponsibilities
• Formulate and plan a vocational training plan for students by working closely with teachers
• Conduct Vocational lessons and develop students' vocational skills (e.g. awareness of working world, work requirements, interviewing skills, self determination, etc.) for the purpose of enhancing their readiness for supported employment /sheltered workshop
• Work together with ITP team, including Allied Health Professional staff and teaching staff so as to ensure alignment of school needs and objectives
• Provide training and support to the students in their school-based work attachment and external work attachment/employment
• Assess and coordinate between industry employers and school in order to manage and meet both parties’ expectations and well-being of students
• Train representatives of participating organizations (e.g. managing students in the event of a meltdown)
• Obtain feedback from industry employers on further support and training during and post work attachment/internship experience
• Assist in resolving issues with employment relations
• Conduct transition meetings with parents to align their expectations on post-school options and future plans
• Prepare reports for communication on information and recommendations to parents accordingly
• Provide proper documentation on all students’ work performance
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress in school and workplaces for the purpose of identifying areas requiring training and methods for maintaining work habits

• Attend required meetings, school events and in-service training sessions
