So, what is the opportunity?


Role: Junior Strategist

Department: Strategy

Location: Singapore

Supporting Manager: Senior Strategist

  • You’ll be joining the strategy team as a junior level member, as a fresh graduate or with around 1 year of experience and ambitions to grow and develop.
  • Supporting the senior team members with the brilliant fundamentals of strategy, you will be given the opportunity to lead smaller projects within existing clients.
  • Your strategy team mates will never be far away to back you up and be your sounding board.
  • On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be tasked with generating insights across markets, delivering category analysis with a POV, interpreting competitor strategies and finding new ways to understand audiences in a richer way.
  • On top of this, you’ll help in the develop of agency thought leadership in important areas such as TikTok and Ecommerce.
  • You will be joining a strategy department that doesn’t just do advertising, but deliver branded experiences across the entire customer journey.
  • You will work with fellow strategists to deliver work across Brand, Comms, Content, Social, Website and CRM projects disciplines for some of the world’s most renowned brands.

Skills & Requirements


The ideal candidate should have:

• Developed the core planning skills - fresh thinking inspired by insightful analysis - working as a junior strategist on major brands

• Developed more digitally oriented strategy skills alongside the core craft e.g. social analysis, listening or content planning

• A passion to understand what impacts human behaviour, and how technology is changing the way we interact with brands and the world around us

Collaborative:

• Extremely collaborative across departments and levels of seniority. There are no hierarchies at MullenLowe only the desire to produce the very best work

• Actively contribute to conversations and discussions. In the strategy department we get paid for our POV, and every opinion is an opportunity to learn… so share them!

• Do you know who the best people are to work with? Nice people. You’ll need to form strong relationships with Creatives, Account Servicing and Technology departments.

• Be the catalyst that rallies a team together to solve a problem and inspires their colleagues through examples, case studies or thought starters

Courage:

• Without courage our output will follow industry conventions. Be brave and advocate for different ways of doing things

• Independent minded. We’re not sheep, our strength is in our diversity and how this can bring different POVs to the table

• Don’t settle for good enough, push things that little bit further to get an even better result
