Company Overview:

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage invoicing clients, tracking payments, following up on outstanding invoices, processing vendor invoices, verifying charges, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support decision-making processes and resource allocation.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Match bank transactions with internal records, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and coordinating with external tax advisors or authorities as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, or revenue enhancement, and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance evaluation process, provide support to managers and employees, and facilitate performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Payroll Processing: Coordinate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculating salaries, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, answer employee questions regarding benefits, and assist with enrollment and changes.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintain employee records, and handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Typically in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Some employers may prefer candidates with a Master's degree or professional certifications
  • Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can enhance credibility and job prospects.
