Position Overview:
The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and developing new business opportunities in the APAC region. The role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who can generate new leads, build relationships with potential clients, and drive sales growth for organisation. The Sales Executive will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute strategic initiatives and meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Identify potential clients through various channels including networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Building
  • Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce products and services.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
  1. Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align on goals and strategies.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  1. Proposal Development and Negotiation
  • Prepare compelling proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Close sales and ensure seamless transition to the account management team for ongoing client support.
  1. Market Research and Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Analyze industry data to inform strategic decisions and identify potential growth areas.
  • Report findings and recommendations to senior management.
  1. Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.
  • Address client issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Gather and act on client feedback to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
  1. Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in new business development.
  • Strong understanding of the APAC market and business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of motivation and a results-driven approach.

Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new leads generated and qualified.
  • Conversion rate of leads to closed deals.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting.
