Job Description
In this critical leadership role, you will:
- Provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement long-term financial plans aligned with our growth goals.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and internal control frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Develop and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.
- Play a key role in securing funding for future growth initiatives, including potential M&A activity.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accountancy and Finance/ CPA or CA qualified with at least 8 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a start up.
- A proven track record of success in driving financial growth and profitability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial modelling and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- A strategic mindset with the vision to translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and develop a talented finance team.
- A strong work ethic and a dedication to achieving results.
