Job Description & Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES (E.g. Job Scope) :
• Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk register, daily/weekly reports, tunnel progress reports, and other tunnel related documentation.
• Maintain and monitor quality control and records.
• Prepare and carry out presentation of tunnelling works prior to commencement of works.
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of site works, ground improvement,
ERSS, deep excavation, bored tunnelling works, tunnel internal structure construction and Adit/Cross Passage construction.
• Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
• Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work.
• Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
• Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
• Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work
processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction
activities.
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented
at the work site
• Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors.
REQUIREMENT :
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ experience in handling Tunneling projects
• Hands on experience in EPB TBM operation
• Independent and self motivated
• Able to do Compress Air Works and shift work (12hours)
