Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of new customers in existing multi-tenant warehouses, including:
- Resource planning (space, staff, equipment), subsequent calculation and preparation of proposals
- Planning of operations processes, warehouse layout, setting up the WMS, on-site training of staff
- Initiation of projects and project or sub-project management till go-live
- Communicate implementation details and schedules to the relevant businesses as required
- Other activities to further develop contract logistics
- Implementation of standard warehousing processes and reporting of operational KPIs
- Identifying WMS implementation project owner and system super user
- Develop and improve operational and financial reporting for the business unit jointly with controlling and accounting departments
- Development of small Excel tools, e.g. warehouse calculation and planning models
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and strong relationships
- Performing root cause analysis on the system and working with stakeholders to improve performance
- Implementation: Customer & supplier implementations, setup of new warehouses.
- Commercial: Analysis and preparation of 3PL tenders / quotes, Rate reviews & invoicing, P&L reviews if needed.
- Escalation: Internal and external escalation point
- Operational processes: Analysis of best practices and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Management / Engineering
- Min 8 years of experience with logistics operation in (managing 3PL) / 3PL environment
- A high level of written & verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of mathematics and statistics
