Role:
- Facilitating crew changes in compliance with Seafarers’ Employment Agreement and directives from Crewing Superintendent.
- Ensuring Seafarers meet training, STCW, and Flag State requirements.
- Reporting changes in Seafarers’ employment status to crew wages department.
- Participating in crew planning, promotion, and career development.
- Engaging in recruitment activities.
- Managing vessel mail, including preparation and follow-ups.
- Reviewing vessel disbursement accounts with designated Superintendent.
- Notifying relevant parties about medical cases/accidents and overseeing documentation.
- Coordinating accident/deviation insurance for non-fare paying passengers.
- Facilitating cash to Master arrangements.
- Approving travel expenses for payment upon request.
- Handling assigned special tasks.
- Proficiency in Company’s Management System.
- Implementing Company’s Management System effectively.
- Contributing to the development or modification of procedures.
- Advocating and supporting continual improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ship or shore experience in shipping or ship management.
- Proficiency in ShipNet, PAL, ShipMate would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Industry Regulations including SCTW/MLC/ISM/IMO/TMSA would be highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
