Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders at various levels, including customers, contractors, and vendors, for project maintenance work.
- Deployment: Deploy software and hardware at sites.
- Procurement Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement to source materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Inventory Management: Ensure sufficient inventory for project delivery.
- Site Meetings: Attend site meetings and participate in discussions on all project-related activities with clients.
- Planning and Scheduling: Work with stakeholders to plan and schedule site activities, ensuring adequate materials and manpower support.
- Maintenance Execution: Perform responsive preventive and corrective maintenance for systems.
- System Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting.
- Client Support: Respond to fault calls and complaints from clients.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or related fields).
- Experience:
- Project engineering experience related to SCADA and/or radio systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience in creating technical documents such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments, O&M manuals, technical drawings, and submissions for client review and approval.
- Experience in testing and commissioning equipment.
- Experience in site equipment surveys and installations.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with communication protocols including Modbus and DNP3, and proficient in troubleshooting to resolve site issues.
- Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Organizational Skills: Good planning and organizational abilities.
- Initiative: Able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Independence and Teamwork: Capable of working independently while being a team player.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with various parties.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn and adapt.
Advantageous Skills
- AutoCAD: Basic experience with AutoCAD software.
Supervision: Experience supervising subcontractors for site work
