Job Description:


As Assistant Manager / Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining the positive image and brand reputation of the organisation. We seek a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Communications professional to join our dynamic team! You will work closely with our IR consultant, to develop and implement strategic communication initiatives that align with our company’s goals and objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills (written and verbal English, proficiency in a second language a plus), a good grasp of public relations and branding, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, and company events.


Qualifications/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications and Marketing, PR, Journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate communications, or a related role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders
  • Good understanding of communication channels including social media
  • Experience in technology industry is preferred


Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with stakeholders
  • Some experience with media relations, including pitching stories and securing media coverage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think strategically to develop creative communication strategies that align with business goals
  • Proficient in the use of various communication and design tools including social media management tools, Wordpress and Canva
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, as well as external partners and vendors
  • Skilled in navigating and appropriately managing crisis situations
