Manager

Position Mission:-

1. To handle Logistic business (warehouse operation and value-added service such as for the consumer products), as the main focus.
2. Manage invested companies (monitoring of financial statement / KPI, report how to improve the business, support the managements to strengthen corporate governance, etc)
3. Create synergy between invested companies and Mitsui Group (explore the opportunity of the collaboration, matching the service etc)
4. Conduct M&A in logistics field as project manager (full scope: target sourcing, analysis, approach/negotiation, due diligence, valuation, PMI etc)

Responsibility, task or duty:-

1. Support and lead the invested companies and subsidiaries company such as the organization business development activities and management initiatives in the logistic business fields.
2. Understand and take initiative to create new profitable business source by using M&A, joint venture, with strategic alliance partners.
3. Make business by using MBK network as well as with ability to collaborate with other divisions to build group synergies.
4. Team’s skill-up (able to build the team member, as well as group companies members’ logistic operational, business development skills)

Other expectations of this role

1. We expect this position to handle business development, management of invested companies and M&A project as a PM, therefore, logistics business experience is essential.
2. Communication skills is necessary in order to coordinate various people internal/external.
3. Depending on project progress, long business trip would be necessary such as several weeks.
4. Basically will proceed with projects coworking with HQ, therefore communication with HQ happens frequently. (basically it is in English)
5. Focusing country and/or industrial field would be changed depending on the market situation, therefore flexibility to adjust the change is necessary.

Requirements

• Educational qualification: Bachelor Degree
• Min years of experience: 5 - 7 yrs
• Travel: Required (Yes); Frequency (1~3trip/month)
• Experience of touching logistics project/business preferred
• Experience of project manager of logistic business preferred
• Experience of management of invested company as shareholder / manager preferred
• Open communication mind
• Experience of touching consumer related business (e.g. E-commerce, retailer) optional
• Experience of handling M&A (as investor and/or advisor) optional
