Responsibilities:
Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our management team. The Accounting Manager will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Weekly payment
- Ensure all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Month and end-year process
- General ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Data entry to accounting software (to be advised)
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Liaise with Head Quarter in Japan’ finance team (preferred writing email in Japanese)
- Liaise with subsidiary in overseas branch’s finance team
- Consolidating monthly accounting report from overseas branch’s and reporting to Head Quarter in Japan’ finance team
Requirements:
- Min 3 years' experience preparing partial accounts in a bookkeeper role
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 & Above, speaking & writing) to liaise with Japanese Management & HQ
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Experience in bank transactions

- Experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Full set accounts experience
- Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software
