- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
- Checking plans, drawings, quantities for accuracy of calculation
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as specifications
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of quality materials and plant
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by client or architect
- Understanding of relevant laws and subsidary legislation, rules regulations and its latest latest revisions
- Have a working knowledge of the relevant statutory requirements and comply with all the requirements concerning supervision, quality control and other documentation.
