We are currently looking to expand our dynamic team and have the following position(s)to fill:
Senior Accounts Executive- Payable
Job Description:
- Recognising of costs including and not limited to:
- Checking and validating of all invoices for recording
- Matching cost to sales invoice for back-to-back testing and ensures profitability.
- Maintaining proper filing for audit trail.
- All approved invoices to be recorded in SQL accounting software
2. Supplier Payments including and not limited to:
- Preparation of individual suppliers’ SOA as at end of the month for submission.
- Seeking for payment approval
- Processing all transactions accurately via SCB/OCBC online platform.
- All transactions to be recorded in SQL accounting software.
3. Maintain Petty Cash float
- Disburse cash amount to individuals upon approval.
- All transactions to be recorded in SQL accounting software.
4. Reconciliation
- Reconciling suppliers’ Statement of Accounts monthly.
- Daily management reporting à Preparation of bank reconciliation.
5. Generation of Commission
- Detailed checking and validation of sales reports as a basis of calculation of commission
- Prepare credit control reports to highlight the collection of individual salesperson’s performance
6. Risk Assessment
- Prepare/maintain reports on risk assessment matrix under TPL reporting format
7. Interco reconciliation
- Reconcile all interco transactions and balances with the respective related companies.
8. Involvement in External and Internal audit and other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE (We value individuals with a positive attitude over experience anytime)
- ACCA or any related accountancy certificate
- 2 to 3 Years of accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
- Good communication skills and able to handle all stakeholders with confidence.
- Preferably able to converse effectively in both English and Chinese (we have Chinese suppliers)
- Proficient in MS Office (Must be strong in Microsoft Excel)
- Able to work independently and resourcefully in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to commit to overtime when required.
