About the Role:
As an Engineering Project Engineer, you will be integral to the operations, overseeing critical projects and ensuring efficient collaboration both internally and with the Japanese partners. From leading design review meetings to managing vendor interactions and maintaining equipment standards, your role will be pivotal in driving the technological advancements and operational excellence.

Overview:
- Work Schedule: 5 Days, Monday to Friday (8:00 A.M. - 4:45 P.M.)
- Location: Jurong Island, Singapore
- Company Transportation: Provided within the West area of Singapore
- Monthly Salary: Up to SGD 7,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate effective internal communication channels and organize equipment meetings. Manage interactions with Japanese vendors for procurement, negotiations, and audits.
- Design Review & Project Management: Lead design review meetings, document key outcomes, and oversee project management tasks including budgeting, quality control, safety compliance, and scheduling.
- Vendor & Engineering Standards Management: Qualify and audit new and existing vendors. Translate and develop Company Engineering Standards, ensuring adherence to Singapore regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Equipment Modification & Maintenance Support: Propose equipment modifications, coordinate with vendors for implementation, support spare parts management, troubleshoot equipment issues, and conduct skill development training.
Entry Requirements:
- Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
- Language Skills: Proficient in Japanese for effective vendor communication and collaboration with Japanese counterparts.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in digital control systems and PLC troubleshooting. Basic understanding of IoT applications.
