IT Executive / Senior IT Executive
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Manage servers, networks, and computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
2. Technical Support
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees.
- Respond to and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Train staff on new software and hardware as necessary.
3. Network Management
- Monitor network performance and security.
- Manage VPNs, firewalls, and other network security measures.
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity and troubleshoot network issues.
4. Cybersecurity
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
- Monitor for potential security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend necessary updates.
- Weekly review with managers to access cybersecurity status.
6. IT Projects
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
7. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and service requests.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, IT activities, and security incidents.
- Develop and update IT policies and procedures.
8. Vendor Management:
- Liaise with IT vendors to procure hardware, software, and services. Evaluate vendor performance, manage contracts, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
