Principal PMO
Job Description:
1. Developing and implementing project management methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and efficient project delivery across the organization.
2. Collaborating with senior executives and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
3. Establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks, including project initiation, prioritization, and resource allocation.
4. Monitoring and reporting on project performance, including milestones, budget, and risks, and taking necessary corrective actions as required.
5. Identifying and implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management capabilities and outcomes.
6. Managing and prioritizing project portfolios to align with strategic objectives and optimize resource allocation.
7. Providing strategic guidance and advice to senior management on project management trends, methodologies, and tools.
8. Developing and maintaining relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of outsourced projects.
9. Mentoring and coaching project managers and other team members to enhance their project management skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in risk management and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing PMO policies and procedures.
