Retail Manager, Asia Pacific
The Retail Manager assumes responsibility for overseeing and supervising a highly proficient team of professionals across all facets of a duty-free distribution channel and associated organization.
Key responsibilities encompass planning and executing training and development initiatives, coordinating marketing materials, P&L Accountability and fostering close collaboration with the parent company to deliver precise and actionable feedback and data within the Travel Retail Industry.

Job duties.
• Develop and implement short and long-term objectives aligning with retail sales targets and corporate directives to drive sell-outs.
• Exercise P&L responsibility by consolidating and reviewing budgets, ensuring prudent management of operational expenses and retail-related finances.
• Uphold brand standards by overseeing brand guidelines and monitoring the execution of merchandising, assortments, and planograms in retail outlets.
• Conduct regular performance assessments with Beauty Advisors to evaluate sales metrics and productivity.
• Supervise execution of planned promotions initiated by stakeholders across retail channels.
• Strategize and implement promotion tactics to foster strong relationships with travel retailers.
• Leverage POS data, merchandising feedback, and promotional insights from both internal brands to conduct comprehensive analyses for informed decision-making.
• Monitor the performance, demeanour, and feedback of team members to maintain adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
• Provide regular and precise updates on monthly sales figures utilizing internal tracking software in collaboration with the Sales and Revenue Team.
• Foster collaboration across departments to conduct thorough analyses and gather feedback from consumers and stakeholders, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and cultivate traveller profiles, key consumption periods, and market demands for each point of sale (POS) to develop tailored business proposals.
Experience required:
At least 5 years of working experience in the retail sector, preferably with travel retail
Good interpersonal, analytical, communication and negotiation skills
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight deadlines
Competent in Microsoft Office
Experience in the beauty industry is highly preferred.
