Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, assisting with payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain financial records and ensure files are organized and up-to-date.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
