Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on pump systems, water tanks, and associated mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in pump systems and water tanks.
- Perform necessary repairs and replacements of defective components to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new pump systems and water tanks.
- Ensure proper alignment and setup of mechanical and electrical components during installation.
- Monitor the performance of pump systems and water tanks, ensuring they operate within designated parameters.
- Prepare and submit reports on system status, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in pump systems and water tanks.
- Experience working with industrial equipment and systems.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work in varying conditions, including outdoor and industrial environments.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, control panels, and water tanks.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
