Our client is one of the world’s trusted providers of one-stop BIM services throughout the entire building construction sector. Currently they are looking for a BIM Authority Lead to join the company.
about the job
- To coordinate between BIM Modelling Team, Design Consultants & Contractors.
- To use BIM for coordination, sequencing & constructability with relevant parties
- Troubleshoot of any BIM software / tools problem from BIM Modelling Team
- Provide simple trainings to Engineers / Designers on operating of BIM software / tools.
- Perform clash checks & host the clash review / resolution meeting with relevant parties.
- Follow the standards, workflows, settings and best practices that ensure delivery of high quality consistent model and drawing output across the entire project
- Participate in regular BIM coordination review process throughout the duration of the project
- Liaise with Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.
- Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
- Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
skills & experience required
- Must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Architectural Engineering with relevant working experience in Construction industry or BIM certificate
- Relevant 4-5 years working experience in BIM/Civil/piping/ E&I
- Knowledge of Bentley, AutoCad and MS Office.
- Able to read and interpret drawings.
- Experience in adoption of BIM processes in large construction projects from tender to completion of project will be an advantage.
- Must be able to work under pressure in fast-paced community with minimum supervision, meeting project deadlines
- Work location at Tuas, transportation provided at certain pickup point
