Job Description
- Carryout 3D modelling and design drawings to meet process, application and safety requirements of Flex-Pyrolysis System.
- Study, Analyze and provide solutions to existing system or new development enabling optimal and improvements of performance with DFM, DFA and Cost reduction.
- Generate Step Files and update of all Engineering drawings readily for fabrications base on design requirements including BOM and Layout.
- To source for suitable equipment derived from P&ID such as pumps, motor, mechanism, valves, sensors and devices to meet full function of the system.
- To support as quality inspector for all receipts of purchases and documentation ensuring they are compliance to specifications, Form, Fit & function and resolve quality issues to have timely replacements of use.
- To liaise and manage outsource job by actively plan, supervise and participate in work-around solutions with regular update of status and drive for on time completion.
- Responsible for all CAD drawings and design documentations with up-to-date records and proper upkeeping with accuracy and security of information.
- Support the physical installation, assembly and trouble shooting of the system when required.
- Complete responsively assigned tasks within the specified timeframe.
- Participate in R&D efforts.
- Carryout other tasks as directed by the reporting officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Candidates with 3-6 years of relevant design and manufacturing experience preferred
- Hands-on personality, and able to work on the ground operating/fixing the systems
- Committed and result oriented.
- Proficient in creating design drawings using SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software preferred
- Knowledge in pyrolysis, syngas and biochar (good to have)
- Comfortable with work location at Tuas area
