Job Description:
- Handles a full set of accounts, including monthly bank reconciliation & journal entries.
- Review monthly management accounts, perform financial analysis against budget and forecast on monthly basis and explanation of variance and trend.
- Oversee statutory filings including financial statements and tax
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register.
- Reviewing Staff’s AP entries and staff claims
- Oversee and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities as and when required
- Liaise with external parties for compliance and grant applications and claims
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the finance team and across departments
- Participate in process improvement projects
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the Head of Department from time to time
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role
- Professional work ethic, leadership qualities and strong personal integrity.
- Knowledgeable in accounting software is advantageous
- Prior experience in the Import & Export industry is advantageous
- Meticulous attention to detail and a cautious to financial management
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Good working knowledge of FRS, Consolidation, Taxation is preferred
- Able to start work at short notice, or immediately
