About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking to hire an experienced lead in managing barges operations in Singapore to support marine works project in the East.
Key responsibilities of the role include;
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance and service activities on barges operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and managing equipment performance.
- Also responsible for drafting emergency plans, maintaining communication with managers and engineers, and preparing equipment schedules.
- Any other duties as may be required by the Company.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have
- Minimum of 10-15 years experience relevant to the operation and upkeep of JUB’s and having previously similar positions.
- Trades qualification relevant to the operation and maintenance of the barge systems.
- IJUBOA accreditation – desirable.
- Recent JUB operational knowledge and competency.
- Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
- Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
