- Lead deployment vacuum solutions, methods and practices to customers
- Work closely with customers’ engineering teams to understand post-sales application issues
- Collaborated extensively with R&D, Sales and Marketing teams on technological advancements
- Built strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers
- Review and identify failure modes with local and global support teams through local pump disassembly analysis and 8D reporting
- Conducted thorough root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defect rates
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for underlying reasons for pump failures and deliver comprehensive Failure Analysis reports to clients
- Prepare and present to customers’ applications issues and/or product recommendations
- Participate in deployment and follow-up of corrective action plans when necessary
- Provide on-site and in-house technical & application support as required
- Collaborated cross-functionally to establish and maintain quality metrics, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement of product quality throughout the production lifecycle
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in any engineering discipline or chemistry
- Familiar with Semiconductor, Automotive, Solar and LED manufacturing equipment and processes
- Strong understanding of chemistry, electrical and mechanical systems
- Experienced and comfortable in customers’ interfacing
- Sensitive to the commercial and marketing issues underlying the technical work being undertaken
- Good project management and systematic problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Experience in chemical analysis techniques (FTIR, XPS, SEM, ICP-OES) will be an advantage
