Job description
- Apply scientific and engineering principles in research, development, production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and utilization of foods.
- Conduct basic research, and new product research and development of foods.
- Develop new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production, quality control, packaging, and distribution.
- Study methods to improve quality of foods, such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, convenience, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods.
- Test new products in test kitchen and develops specific processing methods and confers with Chef de Cuisines and subject-matter experts.
- Specialize in food technology such as product development, quality control, or production inspection, technical writing, recipe writing and coaching and consulting.
- Establish raw material and finished product specifications
- Conduct sensory testing and compile report for sensory test
Requirements
- Excellent Knowledge and familiar with relevant regulatory requirements (NEA, AVA, FDA, CDC) and control systems such as ISO 22000
- Proficient in using MS Office, Data Management Systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food manufacturing/ Food & Beverage chain
- Experience in managing tight timelines, gap analysis and attention to details
