Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
This role will be based in the firm’s Singapore office, and the individual will mainly be responsible for:
- Handling trade lifecycle events. This includes, but is not limited to confirmations, settlements and corporate actions/maturities/expiries/fixings of the portfolio positions.
- Performing reconciliations of trade and positions between internal systems, broker statements and the fund administrator’s system.
- Generating reports for internal stakeholders such as Front Office and Management.
- Timely response to and resolution of queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Back up leave coverage for New York and late London shifts on rotational basis.
Experience, Requirements & Skills
- Business or Finance degree preferred.
- Good knowledge in FX, Fixed Income, OTC derivatives and other financial products.
- At least 4-7 years’ of direct operations experience in end-to-end trade lifecycle management in the financial services industry, preferably in a large bank or hedge fund.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with good problem-solving skills.
- Team player, with the ability to work independently.
- Able to work under tight timeline and pressure in a fast-paced environment, and able to assess which assignments to prioritise on short notice.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong technical skills in Excel VBA and Python is a plus.
